Track 1: Vaccines Against Infectious Diseases and Cancers
The story of vaccines did not begin with the first vaccine–Edward Jenner’s use of material from cowpox (Chicken pox vaccines) pustules to provide protection against smallpox. Rather, it begins with the long history of infectious disease in humans, and in particular, with early uses of smallpox material to provide immunity to that disease. Methods for growing viruses in the laboratory led to rapid discoveries and innovations, including the creation of vaccines for polio. Measles, mumps, polio vaccines and rubella, Innovative techniques now drive vaccine research, with recombinant DNA technology and new delivery techniques leading scientists in new directions.

Track 2: Cancer Vaccines
Cancer vaccines boost the immune system's natural ability to recognize and destroy things that are foreign and potentially harmful to the body. A strong, healthy immune system is able to identify antigens (substances on the surface of cells that are not normally part of the body) and attack them, typically eliminating them. The immune system is then left with a “memory” that helps it respond to those antigens in the future. A cancer treatment vaccine takes advantage of the immune system’s response to antigens. Often, cancer cells have specific molecules on their surface that are not present on healthy cells. When injected into a person, these specific molecules act as antigens, which stimulate the immune system to recognize and destroy cancer cells that have these molecules on their surface. Most cancer vaccines also contain Vaccine Adjuvants. Cancer vaccines are mainly for Preventive and prophylactic vaccines especially for cervical cancer Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine were used.

Track 3: Innate and Adaptive Immune Responses to Vaccination
Innate immune system and a specific adaptive immune system, the innate system responds non-specifically to live organisms, alerting the Adaptive Immunity system to respond rapidly and strongly with a specific immune response to the invading organism. Environmental proteins, outside of the context of a live invading organism, do not induce innate responses as they lack the signatures of a live organism that are typically recognized by components of the innate immune system. Without induction of the innate immune response, only a poor adaptive immune response is achieved. Therefore inactivated or protein subunit vaccines alone do not typically induce strong, broad or long-lasting adaptive immune responses leads to Autoimmunity

Track 5: Influenza and Flu Vaccines
Influenza is a serious disease that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes even death. Every flu season is different, and influenza infection can affect people differently. Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. Flu vaccines cause antibodies to develop in the body about two weeks after vaccination. These antibodies provide protection against infection with the viruses that are in the vaccine. The seasonal flu vaccine protects against the influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common during the upcoming season. Traditional flu vaccines (called trivalent vaccines) are made to protect against three flu viruses; an influenza A (H1N1) virus, an influenza A (H3N2) virus, and an influenza B virus. In addition, there is Viral Immunology made to protect against four flu viruses (called “quadrivalent” vaccines). These vaccines protect against the same viruses as the trivalent vaccine and an additional B virus.

Track 6: Ebola Vaccines
Ebola haemorrhagic fever is a highly contagious disease that causes death in up to 90 percent of those infected with the virus. Furthermore, there is no treatment that will cure the infection once it begins; therefore, preventing the spread of the virus is crucial to containing outbreaks. This is one reason why research scientists are actively studying a possible Ebola vaccines. At this point, there is not a licensed vaccine for humans; however, an Ebola vaccine has shown to be effective in monkeys based on recent research findings, a single shot of a fast-acting, experimental vaccine successfully protected monkeys from the deadly Ebola virus after only one month. If this vaccine proves similarly effective in humans, it may one day allow scientists to quickly contain outbreaks with ring vaccination which is the same strategy that was successfully used against smallpox, This research has enormous public health implications, not only because it might be used to limit the spread of Ebola virus, which continues to emerge in central Africa, but also because this vaccine strategy may be applied to other highly lethal viruses that cause acute disease outbreaks and require a rapid response such as the Marburg and Lassa fever viruses, and the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) coronavirus. In addition, there is Viral Immunology made to protect against Ebola Virus.

Track 7: Child vaccination & immunization /Pediatric Vaccines:
Vaccines not only help keep your child healthy, they help all children by stamping out serious childhood disorders. Vaccine Immunology had an enormous impact on improving the health of children. It is important that we continue to protect our children with vaccines because outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases by Childhood Vaccines like Chicken pox Vaccines etc. Vaccination is one of the best ways parents can protect infants, children, and teens from 16 potentially harmful diseases. Vaccine-preventable diseases can be very serious, may require hospitalization, or even be deadly – especially in infants and young children. Over 80% of the world's children are now being immunized against the polio vaccines, and the annual number of cases has been cut from 400,000 in 1980 to 90,000 in the mid-1990s. If the year 2000 goal of eradicating polio is achieved, the United States will be able to save the $270 million a year that is currently spent on polio vaccination. The savings for Western European countries will amount to about $200 million a year.

Track 8: Vaccines Discovery & Development
Vaccine development is a long, complex process, often lasting 10-15 years and involving a combination of public and private involvement. Most of the vaccines in use today were developed in the 20th century. Here we collect a group of Vaccine Research Development, licensing events from our timelines to illustrate the extent of vaccine research that occurred in the wake of Louis Pasteur's development of the first laboratory-created vaccine in the late 1800s. Development of vaccines can be simplified into two broad stages: Pre-clinical development is research carried out in lab assays and on animals and Clinical research development is when the vaccine is first tested in humans.

Track 9: Veterinary Vaccine
The major goals of veterinary vaccines are to improve the health and welfare of companion animals, increase production of livestock in a cost-effective manner, and prevent animal-to-human transmission from both domestic animals and wildlife. Vaccination for the animals diverse aims have led to different approaches to the development of veterinary vaccines from crude but effective whole-pathogen preparations to molecularly defined subunit vaccines, genetically engineered organisms or chimeras, vectored antigen formulations, and naked DNA injections. successful veterinary vaccines have been produced against viral immunology, bacterial, protozoa, and multicellular pathogens, which in many ways have led the field in the application and adaptation of novel technologies, These veterinary vaccines have had, and continue to have, a major impact not only on animal health and production but also on human health through increasing safe food supplies and preventing animal-to-human transmission of infectious diseases. The continued interaction between animals and human researchers and health professionals will be of major importance for adapting new technologies, providing animal models of disease, and confronting new and emerging infectious diseases.

Track 10: Vaccines Immunology
Vaccines Immunology (also called biologic therapy or biotherapy). Immunotherapy is treatment that uses certain parts of a person’s, enhancing, or suppressing immune system to fight diseases such as cancer, Tuberculosis. To enhance the immunity Childhood Vaccines like Chicken pox vaccines, Polio Vaccines were given for the children. The materials either made by the body or in a laboratory that restore immune system function. This can be done in two ways. Stimulating your own immune system to work better, faster or smarter to attack cancer cells. The therapies seek to treat diseases spanning oncology, respiratory medicine and allergy, dermatology, gastroenterology, hematology, infectious disease, neurobiology and nutrition. Immunotherapy also sometimes called biologic therapy or biotherapy. Active agents of immunotherapy are collectively called immune-modulators. Market Analysis: Global revenue for immunotherapy vaccines was nearly $28.8 billion in 2011.This market is expected for cancer vaccine to increase from $49.6 billion in 2020. In the case of USA $12.3billion in 2011, but it will increase half of the percentage by the end of 2017.

Track 12: HIV/AIDS Vaccines
Vaccines have been our best weapon against the world’s deadliest infectious diseases, including smallpox, polio, measles, and yellow fever. An effective preventive AIDS vaccine would teach the body how to prevent HIV infection. Vaccines are the most powerful public health tools available and an AIDS vaccine would play a powerful role in ensuring the end to the AIDS epidemic. An HIV vaccine does not yet exist, but efforts to develop a vaccine against HIV, the virus that causes AIDS, have been underway for many years.

Track 13: Recombinant vaccines
Recombinant vector vaccines are experimental vaccines similar to DNA vaccines, but they use an attenuated virus or bacterium to introduce microbial DNA to cells of the body. “Vector” refers to the virus or bacterium used as the carrier. In nature, viruses latch on to cells and inject their genetic material into them. In the lab, scientists have taken advantage of this process. They have figured out how to take the roomy genomes of certain harmless or attenuated viruses and insert portions of the genetic material from other microbes into them. The carrier viruses then ferry that microbial DNA to cells. Recombinant Vector Vaccines closely mimic a natural infection and therefore do a good job of stimulating the immune system.

Track 14: Preventive vaccines
A preventative vaccination is carried out by introducing a part of the virus or an inactive virus into the body, the immune system reacts by producing antibodies. The virus enters the organism these antibodies will recognize and destroy it. Therapeutic response is administered to a person afflicted with a chronic viral infection, against which naturally produced antibodies are ineffective. In other words, therapeutic vaccines aim to increase the activity of the body’s natural defenses. Many vaccines companies focused on their Vaccine Research Development to enhance the productivity of preventive vaccines

Track 15: DNA vaccines
A DNA vaccine against a microbe would evoke a strong antibody response to the free-floating antigen secreted by cells, and the vaccine also would stimulate a strong cellular response against the microbial antigens displayed on cell surfaces. The DNA vaccine couldn’t cause the disease because it wouldn’t contain the microbe, just copies of a few of its genes. The Immunological Research towards DNA vaccines are relatively easy and inexpensive to design and produce. DNA vaccines consist of DNA that is administered directly into the body. These vaccines can be administered with a needle and syringe or with a needle-less device that uses high-pressure gas to shoot microscopic gold particles coated with DNA directly into cells. Sometimes, the DNA is mixed with molecules that facilitate its uptake by the body’s cells. Naked DNA vaccines being tested in humans include those against the viruses that cause influenza and herpes.

Track 16: Diabetes Vaccines
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic degenerative disorder caused when the pancreas either fails to produce a protein hormone called insulin or the body's cells are resistant to the action of insulin. Without insulin, the body cannot process and use glucose, a blood sugar which is a chief source of energy for living organisms and is found in certain foods like fruit. If the body's cells have become resistant to insulin, glucose cannot be moved from the blood to cells in order to be transformed into energy. Whether Childhood Vaccines at birth will prevent Vaccine associated autoimmunity such as diabetes is not as clear as Classen's analysis of compelling data suggesting vaccines can be a co-factor in the development of Type I diabetes in children. Without large, well designed case controlled studies, his proposed solution to vaccinate at birth cannot be confirmed.

Track 17: Dental caries vaccine
Dental caries is an irreversible microbial disease of the calcified tissues of the teeth and it has a multifactorial origin. In India, the dental caries prevalence in 35-44 year olds was reported to be 80-95% in a DCI survey. Among the elderly in the 65-74 years age group, the DCI survey reported the caries prevalence to be about 70%, while the present survey reported it to be 51- 95% in various states. Surveys which were done on school children in India showed a caries prevalence of approximately 58%.Among the U.S. population, a survey showed an incidence of 93.8% in adults with either past or present coronal caries and an incidence of 45.3% in children 23. In countries like Brazil and China, it is reaching epidemic proportions. Thus, more effective public-health measures are needed to combat dental caries. Mutans Streptococci is one of the main microorganisms which are associated with the aetiology of dental caries. Preclinical studies of immunological interventions have shown that the disease can be interrupted. Clinical trials have indicated that a Mucosal Immune Responses to Streptococcus mutans crucial antigens can influence the pathogenesis of dental caries. The dental caries vaccine, when it is used in appropriate individuals at the appropriate time, can reduce the reem ergence of the disease.

Track 18: Vaccines Production / Manufacturing
Most vaccines are delivered via intramuscular or subcutaneous routes using a needle and syringe. There is currently Vaccine Research Development of new delivery systems for vaccines. The goal is to identify optimal methods for presenting target antigens to the immune system in a manner that will elicit immune responses appropriate for protection against, or treatment of, a specific disease. Several different approaches to this general goal have been developed, some are empirical and remain poorly understood, and others are more rational, being based, for example, on mimicking natural infections in vivo or on targeting particular features of the immune system. This article will review three categories of delivery systems: (i) adjuvants and formulations; (ii) antigen vectors, including live attenuated micro-organisms and synthetic vectors; and (iii) novel devices for vaccine administration.

Track 21: Viral Vaccines
A drug may be classified by the chemical type of the active ingredient or by the way it is used to treat a particular condition. Each drug can be classified into one or more drug classes. Viral vaccines contain either inactivated viruses or attenuated viruses. Inactivated or killed viral vaccines contain viruses, which have lost their ability to replicate and in order for it to bring about a response it contains more antigen than live vaccines. Attenuated or live vaccines contain the live form of the virus. These viruses are not pathogenic but are able to induce an immune response. Some examples of viral vaccines are Ebola Vaccines, Polio Vaccines, and Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine.

Track 22: Novel Approaches in Design of Cellular and Molecular-Based Vaccines
HIV Vaccines Research Development are arguably the most powerful medical intervention in the fight against infectious diseases. The enormity of the global human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV)/acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) pandemic makes the development of an AIDS vaccine a scientific and humanitarian priority. Research on vaccines that induce T-cell immunity has dominated much of the recent development effort, mostly because of disappointing efforts to induce neutralizing antibodies through vaccination. Whereas T cells are known to limit HIV and other virus infections after infection, their role in protection against initial infection is much less clear. In this article, we will review the rationale behind a T-cell-based vaccine approach, provide an overview of the methods and platforms that are being applied, and discuss the impact of recent vaccine trial results on the future direction of T-cell vaccine research.

Track 23: Age-specific Immune Response to Vaccination
Vaccination in early infancy already forms part of the strategy to protect young infants against certain infectious diseases. (BCG, polio, HepB) More recently, the concept of maternal immunization has gained momentum and its role has already been established to prevent neonatal tetanus and more lately pertussis in some countries. Our understanding of the effect of vaccines on the maturation of immune function more generally and on interactions of vaccines between themselves more specifically is rudimentary to date, but lately, the concept of trained innate immunity has started to evolve. Over the last few years, a number of clinical trials have enrolled mothers and infants into vaccine studies. We are now in a position to assess the lessons learned from these and other ongoing international trials, to discuss current scientific progress in maternal and neonatal immunology, infections and immunizations, in the broader context of infectious disease epidemiology and public health.
